Job description
Protocol Education is recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant at an Alternative Provision in the London Borough of Enfield.

The role is based at a small Secondary School for children who have struggled at Mainstream schools. Many of the children come from difficult environments at home or with a statement of Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH).

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with a statement of Special Education Needs (SEN), ideally working with children or young adults who have displayed challenging behaviours or with fulfilling their learning potential.

The role is full-time from September, ideally suited to somebody who is able to commit to a longer-term role (likely to be for at least the duration of the 2017/18 academic year).

The school is difficult to reach by public transport so may be better suited to a car driver or cyclist. There is ample parking on site. The school is situated close to the M25 and the A10.

There are plans to expand the school to include a Key Stage 2 Primary element so there is potential to grow with the school.

If you have experience working with children or young adults with special education needs, and are interested in making a positive contribution to the lives of young people, please send your CV or call Simon on 020 3219 7740.

Protocol Education is a leading supply teaching agency. We find jobs for teachers and teaching assistants in schools throughout England.

Our aim is to provide schools with the supply teachers, teaching assistants, support and SEN staff they need to be successful. At the same time, helping teachers, teaching assistants and nursery staff to find rewarding and career-enhancing jobs.
