Job description
If you have experience of working with children/young people and are looking for a fresh challenge to motivate and inspire disengaged students then you may enjoy this unique position as a Behaviour Mentor in a Primary School.

This Primary Academy based in Hayes is larger than average with a diverse student population and it is growing! The School prides itself on developing independent learners; aiding its students emotional development, as well as academic.

As the Learning Mentor, you will take small groups of students out of class, to work towards improving their behaviour, self-esteem and social skills through group intervention. You will mentor students and provide pastoral support, guiding them towards good behaviour in a positive, reward-based way.

Teaching is differentiated and tailored to specific needs, and a high level of support is provided. The Academy has a comprehensive staff development Scheme and graduate Scheme. The friendly staff team support eachother well and are passionate about giving their students the best start in life!

Ideally you will:

- Educated to a Degree level

- Have some form of experience supporting children/young people

- Passionate about pathing a career in Education

- Be positive, resilient and persistent

- Be able to manage challenging behaviour

This position is based in Hillingdon, West London and is full time.
