Behaviour Mentor

We’re on the lookout for a behaviour mentor to support pupils with everyday learning and tasks. Could you be the person to build relationships with young people who need a bit of extra support to thrive in a school environment?

What we’re looking for:

• Experience working with children or young people with behavioural needs
• Confidence in managing challenging behaviour
• A calm, patient and resillient approach 
• Someone who genuinely wants to make a difference

What you’ll be doing:

• Working 1:1 with pupils, supporting behavioural and emotional needs
• Working alongside teachers and staff to implement behaviour strategies
• Leading small group activities
• Helping pupils engage with learning
• Support pupils to feel safe and understood

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
