An Outstanding high-quality alternative provision is looking for an experienced teaching assistant. The curriculum is centred on the needs of each individual student; students will be engaged, supported, stretched and challenged within a safe and happy environment where the voices of students, parents/carers and staff will be both respected and valued.

As every child matters all needs of individual students are taken into consideration and taken care of. Therefore, at Protocol, we are looking for someone who is interested in working with pupils of different ages and help towards improving emotional resilience, stability and mental health so they are better equipped

Specific duties:
-Engaging with SEN pupils and helping them develop their skills.
-Planning and preparing engaging and interactive lessons.
-Reporting and evaluation individual student progression.
-Working alongside a wide range of SEN professionals, carers and social workers frequently.
-Good behaviour management of the classroom.

Requirements:
-Strong team player with relevant experience of working in a childcare/support working setting.
-Good knowledge of severe learning difficulties.
-Ability to work both individually as well as part of a team.
-Passionate about working in SEN and confidence in providing students to work at their full potential.
-Be able to provide a valid DBS or on the update system.
