Are you interested in supporting young people who struggle with their behaviour? Have you the care and compassion to work with people who are vulnerable and need support? Do you have strong communication skills? Could you be the person to make a real difference to a young person's life?

It has become apparent that people with experience as a youth worker have great success working in primary schools, supporting children with severe behavioural needs due to their many transferable skills.

We are working closely with schools in West Yorkshire who are seeking support assistants with the eagerness to engage with children who's mental health may have suffered throughout lock down.

Previous experience working with children is essential. Must be able to work using your own initiative but also be able to contribute to a dedicated team.

• Previous experience working with children
• Reference information for the last five years
• UK eligibility to work, an enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to have one undertaken at the cost of £40
• The ability to be flexible and adaptable on a daily basis
