Job description
Behaviour & Inclusion Support Worker North Bradford

We are currently looking for a Behaviour Support Worker to work in SEMH school based North East Bradford. This schools provides an education for students who can't go to a mainstream school, because of exclusion, illness or other reasons and would not otherwise receive suitable education. The particular groups you are working with will be Key Stage 3 children that are in transition to this new environments.

You will ideally hold a Team Teach certification or be prepared to train for one and have a passion for working with young people aged 11-18. The work can be very rewarding; however it can also be challenging to so you need to be resilient, clam, composed and have the ability to manage challenging behaviour in the school. Many students have challenging home lives and have complex communication needs, learning difficulties or are autistic and some occasionally present some challenging behaviours.
