Protocol Education are working in partnership with a company who have different SEN settings across Bath and they are seeking to appoint Social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) specialists. This position is on a full time basis, starting as soon as possible.

The role would require you to work 1:1 with a student who needs additional support within the alternative setting. The ideal candidate would have experience of working either in an SEN or mainstream school, working alongside children with additional needs. Additionally, if you have experience of supporting children outside a classroom environment and believe the skills you have learnt from this are transferable then please get in touch. A background in coaching or social care is also desirable. It is important that you have positive energy, you are patient, resilient and flexible. These skills are what the school are ideally looking for in any candidates.

This role requires a car driver who has access to their own transport as part of the role involves transferring the student from home to School. The areas you would need to be able to drive to will be the Centre of Bath and Midsomer Norton. When at the Education setting in Midsomer Norton you will be required to support the student.
