Protocol Education are proudly supporting our Lincoln-based client who have an exciting opportunity for a Baby Room Leader to join the team on a permanent or long-term basis. This role may also include the opportunity to step up to 3rd in charge to cover a maternity leave.
The nursery was established in 1990 and continue to provide a reliable and trustworthy childcare service. They work closely with all parents and have built up an enviable reputation for service over the last 30 years and more. The nursery provides full and partial day care in a bright, stimulating environment and all their nurseries are very welcoming!
The successful candidate will lead a team of three practitioners and will be provided excellent support from upper management along with great training and development opportunities.
Working hours are Monday-Friday, 7:30am-6pm.

·To be directly responsible to the Nursery Management Team offering support in all matters concerning the Nursery.
·To do whatever is acceptable within the terms and conditions of your employment to assist the Management Team to ensure the Nursery runs smoothly and efficiently.
·To support the Management Team in the implementation of the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage including any revisions to the guidance.
·To implement and adhere to the settings policies and procedures in particular: Confidentiality, GDPR, Safeguarding & Child Protection, Health and Safety, Inclusion and Equality, SEND, Behaviour, Complaints. Working also within the remit of the Nursery Managers beliefs and ethos.
·To undertake, support and take guidance/support from staff with lead named roles e.g. SENCO as defined by Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage and Ofsted to undertake these roles effectively.
·To support the Management Team to ensure all registers monitoring children's and staff attendance/deployment are accurate and made available on request. The correct age banding of children is implemented and sustainable, ensuring the needs of each child are met. Ofsted requirements must be always adhered to.
·To support the induction for all staff /trainees/volunteers (undertaking a mentor role as necessary) and ensure that they are monitored and supported to undertake their role safely and fully understand the need to always respect confidentiality.
