Job description
Protocol Education are assisting their client in looking for Teaching Assistants that are looking to develop their experience and skills working with both Primary and Secondary students with special needs such as moderate learning disabilities, autism and other complex needs.

As a leading provider within the education sector we are assisting a SEND school in Newcastle, in the need of specialist staffing requirements. If successful, you will be required to work with students both on a one to one basis as well as leading small groups of students. The positions available are initially daily cover however for the right candidate a long term position would be up for consideration.

As a specialist LSA successful candidates will need the following skills and qualifications:
• Confident and open to working with a variety of special needs and challenging behaviour
• Excellent communication skills
• Be able to differentiate work to support individual needs of children

·Team Teach (or willingness to work towards)
·Subject to a disclosure barred service or currently registered to the updated service.
