Job description
Protocol Education are currently recruiting 3x Autism Support workers to support children with autism spectrum disorder on a full-time basis.

This position is temp to perm, with a transfer period of 14 weeks.

Pay: £9.00 per hour

Location: Doncaster

Hours: Rotating shifts 6 days on 3 days off. Shifts will rotate between 07:10am - 15:00pm & 13:00pm - 21:00pm. Working reduced hours on the weekend.

The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day to day care, on a 1-1 basis or 2-1 basis. You must have previous experience supporting autism in some capacity, with a working knowledge of safeguarding rules and regulations.

The role:
• Support autistic students in your care to complete day to day tasks
• Ensure all personal care needs are met
• Take the children to and from school throughout the week
• Complete school activities
• Follow care and education plans set to specific individuals
• Complete daily reports to ensure a high quality of care.

The successful candidate:
• Will have a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Health and Social care
• Will have experience supporting children or adults with Autism
• Will be able to drive (due to remote location of School)
• Will be aware of all safeguarding regulations
• Will actively bee seeking full time ongoing employment on a rotating shift basis
• Will have genuine compassion and a want to adequately support the students in your care
• Experience supporting in a school environment is preferred but not essential.
• Will agree to a full enhanced DBS check
