A Sunderland secondary school is recruiting for a Autism support worker.
This OFSTED graded good school is located close to the centre of Newcastle . It is a short drive from the Coast Road , meaning it is easily accessible from the surrounding areas of Newcastle and North Tyneside.
The successful ASC support worker will join a large and supportive SEND department.
Your role will be to work specifically with school’s new year 7 intake. You will provide 121 supporting to pupils with Autism/ ASC. Previous experience of supporting a child with Autism or challenging behaviour is desirable. The school is willing to consider applications from individuals with either professional or personal experience of supporting austim.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
