A special needs school in Ealing are looking for experienced support workers to work 1:1 with pupils on the autistic spectrum. This school is an excellent provision and caters to both primary and secondary pupils.
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will need to be personable, well-spoken, and engaging with your approach to working with the students.You will be passionate about your work, always willing to go the extra mile with excellent behaviour management to support your colleagues.
The ideal candidate should have the following:
- Supported pupils one-to-one or in small groups.
- Experience of working as a Teaching Assistant.
- Experience working with children with SEN.
- Flexible and available for full time work.
- Current, valid DBS that is on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of safeguarding policies.
- Be a confident person with a warm and friendly approach.
- Able to apply behaviour policies effectively.

As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools.
