Job description
Protocol Education are currently recruiting an Autism Support worker to support children with autism spectrum disorder on a day to day basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day to day care, on a 1-1 basis or 2-1 basis. You must have previous experience supporting autism in some capacity, with a working knowledge of safeguarding rules and regulations. You must be available a minimum of 3 days per week.

The role:

Support autistic students in your care to complete day to day tasks
Ensure all personal care needs are met
Follow care and education plans set to specific individuals

The successful candidate:

Will have experience supporting children or adults with ASD
Will be aware of all safeguarding regulations
Will have genuine compassion and a want to adequately support the students in your care
Experience supporting in a school environment is preferred but not essential
Makaton desirable
