Protocol Education is an established Recruitment Specialist providing a high-quality service to Education professionals seeking temporary on-going positions.

We are seeking a range of SEND Specialist Practitioners who can support learners who have a range of learning barriers and difficulties. This will involve providing individualised support programmes on a 1:1 or small group basis in order for learners to develop strategies for progression.
The Role:
-Special needs support.
-A role model for students to look up to.
-£65-£80 per day

This role will require you to support pupils who have high functioning Autism between the ages of 5-19. The pupils will require support during all lessons. The successful candidate will be compassionate and nurturing yet still have the ability to find the balance between being firm but fair. The headteacher is keen to appoint a Specialist Practitioners who has previous experience supporting children who have been diagnosed with Autism and Autism Training.

The successful candidate will have the following experience and attributes:

• Have Autism Training
• Have previous experience working in a SEND school
• Experience supporting pupils who have been diagnosed with Autism
• Excellent communication skills

We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £40.00.
