Job description
Are you a teaching assistant? Do you live locally to Doncaster? Do you have experience working with pupils with Autism and specific learning difficulties?

Protocol Education is seeking teaching assistants to work on a supply basis in schools for children with specific educational needs, such as: Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome and Aspergers. All the pupils at these schools have special educational and/or behavioural needs- therefore all applicants must have experience in this field.

Your main duties will include: supporting pupils academically on a 1:1, 3:1 basis and as a class ;taking direction from the class teacher and leading planned activities with small groups of pupils.

Qualifications and Experience required:

-Experience working in an educational setting.
-Experience working with children with special educational needs.
-Behaviour management training such as Team Teach would be preferred but not essential.
