Job description
Are you looking to expand your experience as a Teacher? Protocol Education are looking for an enthusiasic teacher to work with children with ASD or Profound Learning needs in large, inclusive SENd school in the Darlington area. The team you will be working in is well established, experienced and supportive.

The school provides specialist education for children between KS1 - KS4 and all placements will take place between school hours, with some after school clubs required. With this in mind, the right canididate will have a strong work ethic and be happy to "go the extra mile." They will be enthusiastic, have exceptional communication skills and have a positive and helpful attitude. Candidates will preferably have experience working with SEND or challenging behaviour, but this is not essential.

Essential Criteria:
• QTS (or equivalent)
• Basic knowledge of ASD
• Resilient and patient attitude
• Enthusiastic approach to learning and education
• Strong behaviour management

Desirable Criteria:
• Car driver
• Previous experience working with additional needs
• Training or qualifications in SEND
• Team Teach training or equivalent
