The school is a successful all through special school for students aged 4 – 19 and this role is working with a new Autism provision for KS1 and KS2 students.
You will be providing an outstanding opportunity for 5 students with ASD with a personalised approach in order to meet the needs of every pupil and achieve meaningful outcomes.
As the lead teacher you will stimulate and promote effective, student centred, independent learning strategies using a wide ranging curriculum. You will be supported by the leadership team however will have the opportunity to shape the new provision. You will need to be proactive and communicate effectively and have an understanding of the support needs of students and the challenges they may face.
Applicants must have;
Experience of teaching SEN students
Driven and passionate
An autism specific qualification
