We are currently recruiting teaching assistants to work in one of our special needs primary school in Lambeth. This particular school caters to students with special needs that include autism, learning difficulties, and speech and language difficulties. The school are looking for teaching assistants who have experience working with autism and complex needs. Whilst experience is desirable it isn't essential, this school are looking for people who are passionate about special needs and want to be a positive role model for students. As a teaching assistant you will be required to support students on a one to one basis, working in classes ranging from 6 - 8 students, supporting students lessons that involve interactive stories, music and physical development.

The Role:
  • Full time - 8:30 - 16:00
  • Providing one to one support
  • Supporting students in classes ranging from 6 - 8 students per class
  • Working together as part of a team
  • Being able to work closely with the class teacher to meet the students needs
  • Assisting in lessons such as story time, music, dance and movement therapy

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
