The Role

As Attendance & Pastoral Support Officer, you will:

• Monitor daily attendance and follow up on absences

• Contact parents and carers regarding attendance concerns

• Support targeted students with attendance action plans

• Work closely with Heads of Year and safeguarding leads

• Conduct attendance meetings and document outcomes

• Support reintegration following periods of absence

• Identify patterns and escalate concerns appropriately

You will play a key part in identifying vulnerable students early and ensuring appropriate support is in place.
