Do you believe that excellent attendance is key to children's success?

We're looking for an organised and compassionate Attendance Officer to join a primary school in Watford.

In this important role, you'll help improve pupil attendance by working closely with families, staff, and external agencies.

Responsibilities include:

• Monitoring daily attendance and punctuality.
• Following up on absences with parents and carers.
• Producing attendance reports.
• Supporting attendance improvement initiatives.
• Maintaining accurate attendance records using school management systems.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have strong communication and administrative skills.
• Be confident handling sensitive conversations.
• Be organised and able to work independently.
• Have experience within education or a similar environment (desirable).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
