University Graduate | Aspiring Primary Teacher | Teaching Assistant | Croydon
Are you a University graduate that is now looking to gain teaching assistant experience prior to going on to qualify as a teacher in the future. Whether that is a PGCE or enrolling onto a schools direct programme next September based on your performance and the schools discretion?
Are you looking to gain invaluable classroom experience before going on to take your teacher training?
Here at Protocol we are always looking to add to our community of high calibre aspiring and qualified teachers to join our team - is this you?
My client is looking to secure the services of 2 Graduate Teaching Assistants that are aspiring teachers to join their Ofsted Outstanding School. They now require 2 aspiring teachers to offer support and intervention across the next academic year and do have schools direct positions available in September 2017 for you to go on a train and qualify directly with the school. You will work closely with the class teacher to provide an environment that engages pupils, stimulates learning and increases levels of attainment. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: planning and preparing lessons and resources, marking and assessing pupils work.
The school itself offers fantastic opportunities for continuous professional development as well as access to Schools direct. This is a fantastic opportunity for any aspiring primary school teacher, either Key Stage 1 or 2 to get exceptional exposure and experience within the classroom and familiarise yourself with the day to day duties and policies of the school prior to gaining a schools direct position next year.
This Teaching Assistant position is offered on a long term basis until the end of the academic year, starting in September at a daily rate of £70 - £75.
To be successful in this teaching assistant position you will need to:
• Hold a minimum of a 2nd class degree.
• Have a desire to explore a career within education and make a positive impact on the education of future generations.
• Have a DBS in place or willing to get one under application.
