Job description
Full time SEND teaching assistant job available in the Oxfordshire area.

Are you an experienced teaching assistant or support worker with special needs experience looking for a full time role?

A friendly special school in the Oxfordshire area is looking for an experienced learning support assistant/teaching assistant for one of their classes for pupils with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The pupils in the school range from age 4 to 19 and have various special educational needs and disorders (SEND) including ASD, MLD and SLD. The pupils are grouped in key stages. The role is full time to start asap and is likely to extend into a long term role for the right person.

To be successful in your application you must have some experience working with children with special needs in a classroom or non classroom environment and be a proactive and personable team player. You will need to be able to work on your feet for much of the day as well as having a resilient but friendly character.
