Job description
Are you looking for a career working in Education? Or a new graduate who is keen to work with autistic children? then this could be the role for you!!

A lovely Primary school based near West Drayton are looking for energetic and enthusiastic people to work as Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) Teaching Assistants, speacialising in working 1:1 or in groups with Students with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

As part of your role you will be working one- or two-to-one with children between the ages of 4 and 11, the role involves assisting the pupils with their daily routine at school. The level and nature of support the child requires will depend on their particular needs and age group, so there is scope to assign a child/or children to you that match your particuluar skill set.

As such, the ideal candidate will be:

- Positive and proactive
- Calm and caring
- A friendly team player
- Able to work full time Monday-Friday between 8-4
- Eager to learn and dedicated to working in SEND

Skills we are looking for:

- Speech and Lanaguage e.g Makaton, PECs, BSL
- Team Teach or other positive behaviour management strategies or trainig courses
- Training or work experience related to working with children/adults with ASD
- Experience working with children who have ECH or IEPs
- EYFS Experience related to working with children with SEND within the Early years setting.
