Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a new challenge?

I am currently recruiting for a special educational needs school based in Belper that are looking to appoint some new SEN teaching assistants to join their team. The positions are on day to day and long-term basis with a view to go permanent for the right people. The school are seeking teaching assistants with experience working with children with Autism.

As a SEN teaching assistant you will be working alongside the class teacher and supporting pupils with everyday school life, however, there will be times that you will need to be supporting children on a one to one and small groups bases independently. You will be a source of support for pupils and will ensure they are motivated, happy and engaged.

The school seeks to appoint a Teaching Assistant who is experienced in working with children with ASC, ASD, Autism. The successful candidate will work to support the transition of a young person back into school.

The successful candidate will bring at least 1 years of experience to the role and a desire to work with children with SEN. You will be empathetic and determined to make a difference.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
