Job description
Are you looking to expand your experience as a Teacher? Protocol Education are looking for Primary and Secondary Teachers to work with children with ASD in our specialist schools in Bristol and the surrounding areas. Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is the name for a range of similar conditions, including Asperger syndrome, that affect a person's social interaction, communication, interests and behaviour. This role is ideal for candidates who have previous experience working with children who have autism and want to advance in their education career or for those looking for a new direction on their teaching path.

Our schools support children from KS1-KS4 and placements will be during school hours. There are part-time and full-time options available with the opportunity of long-term and permanent placements. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, have exceptional communication skills and have a positive and helpful attitude. Candidates will preferably have experience working with SEND or challenging behaviour, but this is not essential.

Essential Criteria:
•QTS (or equivalent)
•Basic knowledge of ASD
•Resilient and patient attitude
•Enthusiastic approach to learning and education
•Strong behaviour management

Desirable Criteria:
•Car driver
•Previous experience working with additional needs
•Training or qualifications in SEND
•Team Teach training or equivalent
