Protocol Education are seeking a ASD Support Worker to work in specialist provision located in Southwark. Pupils within the recourse base require personalised learning and an individual timetable to ensure they get the most out of their education. A few of the needs of each child may consist of profound developmental delay and learning difficulties.

We are looking for individuals who will have compassion, patience and respect for the needs of each pupil. The main purpose of the role will be to provide children with the specialist care and they need to live happy, healthy and fruitful lives.

This is a full-time support position up until the end of the 2020/2021 academic school year, with a competitive salary.

The Role:

• Full time, Monday - Friday.
• Hours: 8:30 am - 4pm.
• Location: Southwark.
• Salary £60 - 70 per day.


• Ensuring students engage with lessons, providing academic support and working under the instruction of the class teacher.
• Supporting children develop their social and emotional awareness.
• Helping the students with their life skills.

For this role, you will have:

• Experience working in specialist schools.
• Previous experience with vulnerable adults or children
• Experience working in residential care homes.
• An enthusiastic and friendly, yet firm approach.

What do I need to apply?

• Experience caring for vulnerable individuals.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to complete this).
• Enthusiastic attitude towards inspiring children.
