A special needs school in Hayes are looking for an enthusiastic teaching assistant to work with pupils who have Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) on a 5 day a week basis. You will be supporting primary school children between the ages 4-11 delivering a good work ethic, providing inner confidence for each child, building interpersonal and social skills.

Our excellent client currently has 160 pupils on roll and ensure each pupil has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) and are therefore looking for a hard working and proactive individual to provide positive choices about their behaviour in and out of school. The ideal candidate will be very hands on and willing to help with personal care.

The Ideal Candidate will:

Be an outstanding classroom practitioner
Have the energy, passion and drive to raise standards and 'bring about the best' for all members of our community
Have initiative, vision, excellent planning and organisational skills.
Have experience of working with students with challenging behaviour.
Have knowledge and understanding of developments in education.
