Job description
This role is for a SEN Teaching Assistant who has an interest in working in a Special School supporting students with complex learning difficulties. If you feel you can help to make a difference in a student's life, if you work with great positive energy and resilience, then this can be the role for you! This role will be specifically working with Key Stage 2 students with complex SEN needs (Although this site holds Early Years, Key stage 1 and Key stage 2 classes), so prior experience with this age group would be advantageous.

Students have a range of varied needs, physical disabilities, sensory impairments and medical needs. The school caters for children with Social, Emotional and Mental health issues and Autism. The students can be challenging that's why it's of importance that you must have some experience working with challenging behaviour. Each class has approximately 6-8 students.

The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and will work effectively in a team; You will be able to communicate effectively and appropriately with the children, supporting each student with their individual needs. You must be willing to attend any necessary training; and be reliable and trustworthy.

The school is based in the borough of Enfield area and is for an immediate start, ideally 5 days per week.
