Job description
Teaching Assistant with ASD Experience Required - Nottingham

Protocol Education are currently working with a large SEN school in Nottingham who are looking for an experienced Learning Support Assistant to join their school. They are looking for an individual who can be flexible and work across all key stages.

Most of the children you will be working with have very limited communication skills and some are non-verbal. You will be assisting more than one class so supporting several children rather than 1:1 with any particular child.

To be eligible to apply for this position, you must have experience working with children with autism and challenging behaviour. You must have a good knowledge of numeracy and literacy. Those with experience using PECS are urged to apply.


• Autism: 1 year
• Teaching Assistant: 1 year
• SEN: 1 year
• PECS (any experience desirable)
• Makaton (any experience desirable)
