Protocol Education are seeking a passionate learning support assistant to work with students with Autistic students in a resource base within a mainstream school. To be successful in this role you will need to be patient, compassionate and have a passion for autism. You will be expected to work alongside other external support services such as speech and language therapists and social workers.

This is a full-time support position up until the end of the 2020/2021 academic school year, with a competitive salary.

You will be suitable for this role if you have experience:

oWorking in a SEN schools, Pupil Referral Units or in an SEN department within a Mainstream school.
oPrevious support work within a school or other child related experience.
oStrong behaviour management and confident with challenging behaviour.
oHappy to work one to one and small group work.
oAn enthusiastic and friendly, yet firm approach.
