Job description
An 'Outstanding' special needs school in Newham are in search for a teacher to become part of their fantastic team in January.

This school is located in the heart of Stratford, the home of the 2012 Olympic Games and the exciting and ever growing London Borough of Newham. The school offers a fantastic support scheme for both overseas teachers and home grown to develop their careers and knowledge. They specialise in children with Autism and creating a stimulating environment which allows students to strive and achieve. The school are facilitated with amazing resources and equipment.

Classrooms and outdoor areas are built specifically around the needs of the children and all classes consist of 6-8 children with a 3 support staff present.

For this role you must be FULLY qualified teacher with an ambition and strong interest in special needs. You must be adaptable, enthusiastic and willing to learn.

Please note: We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.
