Protocol Education are currently looking for individuals with experience of ASC whether it be professional or personal to work as a SEND Teaching Assistant on a long term basis to start immediately once cleared.

Based in Doncaster, on either a part-time or full- time agreement dependent on your availability, you will work with children with Autism aged between 3 -19. Tailoring your approach to suit the needs and abilities of the children, you will encourage students to work hard and provide a fun, caring, learning environment while under the guidance of the classroom teacher.

By having small class sizes and high staff ratios who specialize in training and attend regular meetings with both parents and pupil, staff are pivotal to creating such a great environment for pupils to succeed.

Being adaptable in this role is key to being successful. You will be focused on following the ethos and aims of the school, while being a friendly face for students to go to in times of need. Being dedicated, motivated, and committed to providing a caring and exciting learning environment where children are valued as individuals are challenged and enabled to reach their full potential is essential to success in this role.

Experience working with PECS and knowledge in Makaton is desired for this position.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
