ASC Support Staff

Location: Doncaster
Job Type: Supply Teaching
Industry: SEN Support Jobs
Reference: SUP 2
Salary: £70 - 75 per day
Job Published: 14 days ago

My Doncaster based clients are currently looking for an individual to join their team of support staff on a full-time basis until the end of term. Although this role is currently temporary it is likely to be extended to a longer-term position from September.

Working on a 1:1 basis with a young child, you will be responsible for ensuring the child is progressing efficiently throughout their education and will go the extra mile to help them succeed. You will liaise with the classroom teacher and relevant staff, helping to adapt and deliver lessons successfully.

The Ofsted rated “good” school caters to children who have severe ASC and wouldn’t be able to succeed as successfully in a mainstream capacity as they will in this school. They are given higher staff to pupil ratio, smaller class sizes and a more flexible approach to learning.

The successful candidate will have a wide range of knowledge of SEND whether that be personally or professionally and be eager to help the child progress both inside and outside of education. Confidence, experience, and knowledge is essential to succeed in this role.

In return we can offer you:

  • A dedicated consultant who understands the importance of finding the right role for you, allowing you to get the best out of your employment.
  • Access to over 50 CPD Courses of Diploma and Certificate Level, used to help further your understanding and progress further within your career.
  • Flexibility – Whether you are wanting full time or part time work, Protocol can work around you. We can offer daily, short term, long term, or even permanent work.
  • Competitive Rates
  • Refer a friend scheme: £250 to any candidate who refers an individual who then works over 20 hours for Protocol.
  • The opportunity to work with an agency who have gained recognition within our industry through awards and accreditations.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role as well as the Right to Work in the UK. Please see protocol-education.com/candidates/frequently-asked-questions for further details.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
