ASC Learning Support Assistant

Short-term/long term and permanent roles

Salary: £60 £100 per day

Greater Manchester

Are you a patient, enthusiastic and hardworking individual who is looking for a challenging but very rewarding role as a Learning Support Assistant?There are numerous roles covering a range of needs including ASC (Autistic Spectrum), MLD, SLD and PMLD.We are looking for experienced, and diligent LSA's to assist with pupils across both primary and secondary who have SLD or ASC. The role will entail working in both an ASC unit and differentiating mainstream lessons to 1:1 with SEND pupils in special schools. These role will be day to day, short term and long term, as these children need stability and routine, with many schools and colleges keen to offer permanent contracts.

The Protocol Education SEND team is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We work alongside a variety of Special Educational Needs Schools and Pupil Referral Units. We provide day to day and long-term recruitment solutions for Teachers and Teaching Assistants.

We can offer our staff the opportunity to gain a further understanding of working in the SEND sector as we provide regular courses that prepare you for working with a variety of additional needs that will be certified upon completion.
