Job description
Art & Textiles/ Graphics Design Technician required urgently with immediate start at an outstanding academy based in Redbridge!

Protocol Education are currently seeking an experienced, pro-active Art Technician to work at our client school based in the London borough Redbridge. This role is a temp to perm position running through to the end of the academic year, with possibility to go perm after an initial 6-week prohibition period. You will play a key role within the Arts Department working closely to support the teachers, setting up classrooms keeping the equipment within health and safety guidelines, ordering in equipment, supporting with any department duties. Your role will also involve supporting students within textiles, arts and graphics design classes.

Person Specification
• Strong academic background including Maths, Science GCSE grade A-C.
• Previous Teaching Assistant/ LSA experience
• Art & Design related degree would be desirable
• Previous experience working within a school based environment
• Relevant work experience as an Arts Technician' or equivalent.
