Job description
The leadership of this Ofsted rated Outstanding school in Leicestershire are currently seeking a qualified teacher of Art to commence teaching in the Autumn term of 2017. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a welcoming and dedicated secondary school.

The ideal candidate will hold a UK recognised teaching qualification (QTS/QTLS) and have extensive experience in teaching Art to key stages 3 and 4. Experience in teaching key stage 5 would be beneficial but is in no way essential to be successful within the role. You must be able to demonstrate a strong track record of raising attainment, delivering outstanding results, and inspiring a genuine love of learning in your students.

The academy has recently seen a substantial number of changes and is now on an exciting journey of continuous improvement, so this is a fantastic time to be joining them. Students and staff enjoy coming here, and behaviour across the school is well-managed and good throughout. This role is permanent and would therefore suit someone who is seeking a new challenge, or perhaps an NQT looking to begin their exciting career. Applications from NQT's are heavily encouraged.

For more information, or for a confidential discussion about the role, please contact Leigh on 0116 216 2122
