At Protocol Education, we are currently recruiting for Art Teachers across Wolverhampton after building strong relationships with schools. To be successful as an art teacher, you should be able to encourage creativity and self-expression among students. Ultimately, an outstanding art teacher will be attentive and responsive to student’s artwork.

About the role

  • Plan and prepare lessons in relation to individual students' needs and examination syllabuses
  • Motivate pupils and encourage progress
  • Create and maintain a network of contacts to ensure work continuity
  • Communicate with academic staff and parents
  • Ensure up-to-date knowledge and awareness of examination requirements
  • Assess pupils' abilities, providing feedback and writing reports

Our ideal candidate:

  • Degree in Art and Design or a relevant subject
  • Hold a valid QTS
  • Any relevant previous experience
  • Good English communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Able to demonstrate and implement behaviour management strategies
  • Reliable, punctual, and consistent
  • Good academic background
  • Hold a Valid DBS or be willing to apply for one through Protocol Education
