Job description
Art and Textiles Teacher
A Northumberland High School is currently recruiting for a Teacher of Art and Textiles to work from 29th April to 10th June on a 0.6 timetable. The position has become available as a result of a maternity cover.

The school is located in the Tyne Valley area of Northumberland and is in easy access of Newcastle and the surrounding areas of Hexham, Ponteland, Gateshead and County Durham.

Responsibilities and Duties:
• Be passionate for teaching with the ability to deliver art and textiles lessons to the highest quality
• Compassionate and respectable towards staff and students alike
• Demonstrate commitment to education and the development of pupils
• Create dynamic and inspiring teaching methods

To apply for this role, you must:
Have experience teaching Art and Textiles in a secondary environment (ideally to KS5).
Have QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or be working towards it, or another relevant teaching qualification.
