Job description
Do you have a qualification in Art and/or Design? You could be thinking about pursuing a career in education and need some experience in a relevant role? Protocol Education are looking for Art & Design technicians across the South east London boroughs. Please see below for more details on your job role.


Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
•Assist teaching staff with practical and technical support needs
•Preparing, assembling and testing of materials, tools and apparatus for use in lesson
•Assisting with demonstrations when required
•Maintaining stock levels within department and carrying out checks
•Ensuring all health and safety guidelines are followed by all students
•Compile written and or/ verbal feedback on students progress
•Ensure students remain focused and uphold school values

The successful candidate will:
•Have a working knowledge of an Art and/or Design subject
•Be educated to degree level or equivalent
•Hold or be able to apply for a DBS that is on the update service
•Have experience working in a secondary school or with key stage 3 + 4 students

Protocol Education works closely with secondary schools across the Bromley and SE London boroughs and offer competitive rates of pay. Do you have experience with special needs?
