Protocol Education is currently looking for a dedicated 1:1 Tutor to support a pupil in Barking and Dagenham who requires additional help after school.

This is a rewarding opportunity for a tutor or qualified teacher who is passionate about providing personalised support and helping a child build confidence and progress in their learning.


The Role

As an After-School Tutor, you will:

  • Provide 1:1 tailored support to meet the pupil’s individual learning needs

  • Support core subjects such as English and Maths

  • Deliver engaging and structured sessions to reinforce classroom learning

  • Help improve confidence, focus, and academic progress

  • Work closely with parents and/or school staff where required


What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or tutoring experience preferred

  • Strong understanding of differentiated learning

  • Patient, encouraging, and adaptable approach

  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
