Job description
MON - FRI 08.30-16.00 TERM TIME ONLY

I'm working on behalf of a special needs school that supports pupils from Early Years to Post 16 in Sutton. They cater for pupils with:

  • Social Emotional Mental Health Needs
  • Physical Disabilities
  • Speech and Language Needs
  • ADHD
  • Visual Impairments
  • Hearing Impairments
  • Down Syndrome


I'm assisting in the schools search for a Teaching Assistant to work with primary or secondary pupils with Physical Disabilities so experience is preferred.


Successful Candidates

  • Experience within a SEN School setting.
  • Be happy to support in sensory games and activities
  • Will have a background in Care Work and Support Work.
  • Be comfortable assisting in personal care and feeding.
  • Has an understanding of manual handling.
  • Is a hard working, approachable and nurturing person.
  • Is able to be proactive, enthusiastic, uses initiative and engages with children.
  • Has experience working with children or young adults who are in wheelchairs.
