The Administrative Assistant is to begin in September and it will be a full time role between 8:30-4, working within a two-form entry primary school based in Seaham rated 'Good' by Ofsted in their most recent report.

Job Description

Key responsibilities for the role include:

- Diary management, coordinating a range of meetings for the team

- Screening and redirecting telephone calls

- Sorting, distributing and responding or drafting responses to incoming mail in a timely manner

- Coordinating and formatting a range of documents and correspondence

- Printing, copying and binding a range of reports

- Implementing processes to achieve efficiency of administrative system

- Ad hoc duties

The Successful Applicant

The successful Admin Assistant:

- Previous experience within admin or working within a school.

- Knowledge of using the programme SIMS.

- Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.

- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.

- Passionate about providing a discreet and impeccable service.

- A confident communicator, both written and verbal.

- Confident across the MS office suite.
