Administration Assistant required
Leatherhead, Surrey
Temporary role, 6 weeks from January 2018

My client, a lovely SEND school in Leatherhead, Surrey requires an Administration Assistant for 6 weeks up to February half term

We are looking for a reliable Office Administrator / PA to join our busy team. You will undertake administrative tasks, ensuring the rest of the staff has adequate support to work efficiently.
The ideal candidate will be competent in prioritizing and working with little supervision. They will be self-motivated and trustworthy.
The office administrator ensures smooth running of our company's office and contributes in driving sustainable growth.

MUST HOLD CURRENT ENHANCED DBS OR BE PREPARED TO BE CHECKED OVER CHRISTMAS

Responsibilities
• Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies
• Manage agendas/travel arrangements/appointments etc. for the staff
• Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.)
• Creates agendas and takes meeting notes
• Create and update records and databases with personnel, financial and other data
• Track stocks of office supplies and place orders when necessary
• Submit timely reports and prepare presentations/proposals as assigned
• Assist colleagues whenever necessary
• Manages reception area and looks after visitors
• Handling staff expenses
• Liaising and booking contractors regarding office maintenance requirements (gardener, cleaners etc)
• Interacting with directors and carries out their requests
• Photocopies and files appropriate documents as needed

Requirements:
Proven experience as an office administrator / PA, office assistant or relevant role.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles
Excellent knowledge of MS Office and office management software
Qualifications in secretarial studies will be an advantageHigh school diploma; BSc/BA in office administration or relevant field is preferred
