The school specifically caters for pupils who are on the autistic spectrum between the ages of 4-19. Almost all pupils demonstrate challenging behaviours and severe learning difficulties. Many also have communication, sensory and other challenges associated with autism.

The school bases its work on the principles of Applied Behavioural Analysis, therefore a clear understanding and training of the techniques is crucial to fulfil this role successfully.
