We are currently recruiting for an experienced AAT Lecturer to join one of our supporting Colleges in the North East. The role will for 2 days per week, Tuesday and Wednesday and supporting L2 - L3.

What you'll be doing:

  • Plan and deliver engaging AAT lessons across relevant levels
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in line with awarding body requirements
  • Support learners in developing practical accounting skills and exam readiness
  • Differentiate teaching to meet a range of abilities and learning needs
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and professional learning environment
  • Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff to enhance learner outcomes

About You

  • AAT qualification (Level 3 or above) or a degree in Accounting/Finance
  • Teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent) – desirable
  • Experience delivering AAT or accounting within an FE college or training provider
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Passionate about supporting and motivating learners in a vocational setting

Desirable:

  • Experience teaching across multiple AAT levels
  • Familiarity with AAT assessment methods and standards
  • Experience supporting learners with additional needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
