Protocol Education are looking to recruit an experienced behaviour support worker for a 1-2-1 assignment at an alternative provision in Bradford.

The role will involve supporting a 15 year old boy who has been outside of education for an extended time.

The young person has Social, Emotional and Behavioural needs as well as other undiagnosed needs. Working alongside a small team of staff, the BSW will be assigned to offer support and encouragement to enable the young person to engage with various vocational and workshop based activities provided by the provision. (including fixing up bicycles and Go Karting excusions)

We are looking for someone with a strong character who can offer an empathetic, nurturing prescence whilst ensuring clear boundaries are being met. The ideal candidate will be resiliant, patient and have a good knowledge of safeguarding procedures. Applicants with former Youth Work experience would be ideal.

The position is part time, initially on Wednesdays and Fridays, although there may be scope to also include Wednesdays if the young person responds well to the initial 12 week programme.

This position requires applicants to hold a recent Team Teach certificate.
