Protocol are working with a BS25 Secondary School to help them recruit a warm, friendly and pro-active individual to support a male student in a 121 role, Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

You’ll be working closely with one student, helping him:

  • Regulate emotions and feel settled throughout the day

  • Stay engaged and access mainstream lessons

  • Build confidence, routines, and positive relationships

You’ll be that steady presence, the one who helps turn tricky moments into small wins.

What the school is like

Think supportive staff, clear routines, and a genuine focus on helping every student succeed.

This is a school that values kindness, curiosity, and determination, with a strong emphasis on both academic progress and personal development.

You won’t be left to figure things out alone, there’s a team around you who get it.

Who this would suit

You might already have experience in:

  • SEND or SEMH support

  • Youth work or mentoring

  • Behaviour support or pastoral roles

Or maybe you’re just someone who’s calm under pressure, builds trust quickly, and knows how to read a room.

If you’ve worked with students who need a bit of extra support to stay on track, you’ll feel right at home here.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see the FAQs on the Protocol Education website for further details.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
