1:1 Teaching Assistant

1:1 Teaching Assistant – Specialist School | Gateshead

Protocol Education is excited to offer an opportunity for a compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with complex SEND in a specialist school in Gateshead.

Responsibilities:

• Providing tailored support to meet individual learning needs.
• Helping the pupil engage with lessons and school activities.
• Supporting communication, behaviour, and emotional regulation.
• Recording progress and contributing to pupil reviews.
• Working collaboratively with teachers and support staff.

Requirements:

• Experience supporting pupils with SEND is desirable.
• A caring and patient nature.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A commitment to promoting positive outcomes for every child.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
