Job description
Are you an experienced SEND Maths or English teacher, capable of working with pupils with SEMH, ASD and complex needs? Or, are you a strong teacher from the maintained sector seeking a new challenge in a SEND school?

A SEND school in Teesside, which caters for pupils who are LAC and with SEMH, ASD and complex needs, requires a strong and enthusiastic teacher.

This role is to teach Core Subjects up to GCSE level and will entail working with pupils with SEMH, ASD and complex needs, so previous experience of working with pupils in a similar setting is undoubtedly advantageous.

Ideally, you will:

• Have attained QTS or Equivalent
• Be able to commit to a full-time role (5 days per week)
• Have a DBS, or be willing to acquire one through Protocol

• Have previous experience working with children with different educational
needs
• Confidence differentiating lessons for pupils with a range of different academic
abilities
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Familiarity with instructional approaches required to facilitate complete access
to the curriculum for pupils with complex needs
