Seeking 1:1 support for SEND students!

Protocol Education are looking to recruit experienced learning support assistants/teaching assistants/outreach workers/Tutors/HLTA's to tutor SEMH students on a 1:1 basis around the Chalfont St Peter, Buckinghamshire area.

You will be joining a great team that predominantly work with ASD, SEMH and challenging behaviour students and therefore a desire and passion for special needs is essential.

This role is part of an alternative provision for students who have been given the opportunity to work in a specialist setting, more suitable for their needs.

This is an outreach 1:1 role and therefore the right candidate will have to own a UK driving licence. However, transport will be provided at the school.

A friendly and positive approach to teaching and learning, as well as the ability to quickly build up strong relationships and rapport with individual children is important.

You will be tutoring the student at Functional Skills English and Maths level, so knowledge within this area is ideal.

This is a long term, full time position so we are looking for candidates to be available 5 days a week between the hours of 8:00am-16:00pm.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
